HVAC systems often require multiple calculation interactions to design efficient and effective systems that can provide acceptable indoor air quality. ASHRAE has developed an Excel workbook that can be used to perform these calculations. This lesson teaches you about this ASHRAE tool. Credit earned on completion of this program will be reported to RCEP. A certificate of completion will be issued to each participant. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by NCEES or RCEP.



NATE
These courses provide information on good design practices for opaque envelope components and fenestration for small retail buildings. It also lists the cautions that should be incorporated into the design and construction of such components. Credit earned on completion of this program will be reported to RCEP. A certificate of completion will be issued to each participant. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by NCEES or RCEP.

Job Outlook:
Since this occupation is projected to grow faster  through 2018  than other occupations that require post-secondary training or an associate degree, the job outlook for HVAC technicians is excellent. (The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Complying with applicable standards, policies & procedures, inc safety procedures & maintenance of a clean work area
Inspecting & testing a system to verify system compliance with plans & specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions
Repairing/replacing defective equipment, components or wiring.
Testing electrical circuits & components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
Reassembling and testing equipment following repairs.
